modem freaks!!!!!!!!!

hi,
im using a p4 computer with 128MB ram
im using a dial up connection
as i click on connect the computer gets hanged.
even ctrl+alt+del wont work.
no other way thn restarting.
hw can i solve it???????

i was witnessing a similar problem recently.

got fixed on its own though. it might be related to power issues. try to check the chord connections.

it might also be a fault in the MTNL phone line, i suspect.
