Modem Cum Router for Airtel Broadband

I have ordered for Airtel Broadband and they said I will get a Modem free with my connection of 1099.

I also want to buy a Router cum Modem for myself and want to know which one to buy. I am looking for something

1. which is easy to use (plug and play)
2. I want to connect 2-3 laptops to the wifi frequently
3. I want to share files between these laptops easily
4. It should not be very costly around 2.5k

Please suggest model and price in Bangalore and if possible where to buy it from Bangalore.

I was using a Netgear D834 previously with my BSNL connection and it was damn easy to use. Please suggest if this will work as well with Airtel...

yes, it will work with Airtel also. no need to buy another router

^^ No i need to buy a new one as the Netgear one is in Kolkata with my dad. Do you suggest to buy the same one or there is something better in the same price bracket
