Now mobile changed to OnePlus 12 with same budget (if possible without exchange).

- any

- yes dual 5g++ VoNR.

4. Preferred choice of brand?
- any

5. What camera option you want (flash, front facing camera)?
- any.
Camera is priority.

6. Preferred operating system? (Android, iOS,Stock Android etc).
- Any

7. Preferred connectivity options (Dual 4G,802.11AC/5Ghz(not 5g mobile network) wifi).
- dual 5g++ VoNR

8. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, internet, gaming etc)?
- Camera + performance (office work and multitask)

9. Any specific mobile phones in consideration?
- no. TSMC SoC preferred.

OP12 might drop to 50k or lower, but lot of negative news around OP right now with updates bricking phone mobo.

Else save money with Moto Edge 50 pro or Realme GT 6T.

S23 low battery + 5G, compact design = heat problem.
Great camera but overall not a good package.

Op12 is overall great package.
But negative news. As you said.

Moto edge 50 pro takes inconsistent photos.
As per 1 online comment.
Edge 50 fusion and ultra are also in consideration.
But don't know which will be better package.

I will check realme gt 6t.
One family member using realme 2 pro which have many hardware issues like speaker, mic.
So didn't checked realme.

There is Xiaomi 14 civi.
There is civi limited edition too.
Also Xiaomi 14 vs 14 civi vs 14 civi cinematic vision vs civi limited edition, what's the difference?
Aluminium body and heats at ambient temp 35°.
And camera fogging issue. I think that will be eliminated as mobile will be used in village area where 40-45 temp during summer.

S23 surely has low battery life vs say 5000mah phones with efficient SoC but it is respectable. Heat isn't that big of a concern as 8 Gen 2 is efficient, surely it will get hotter vs S23U because of physics.

Edge 50 ultra doesn't seem worth considering because of slow OS updates mainly.

Xiaomi 14 is good hardware wise but IMO not upto the mark software wise. Also Xiaomi's UI is generally less efficient for battery life.

OP12 is good

iQoo 12 will get updates till android 16 vs 18 for OP12 & 17 for S23. Depends on the prices

Vivo V40 can be ignored completely. Vivo has iQoo to make value for money phones.

I will buy today..
Or should I wait for OnePlus 12. To go below 45k.

OP12 at 45k is not happening this sale

V40 pro - Check reviews, comparisons & take your call. For me, oppo & vivo will always remain a blind no because I understand their business strategy. The iQoo 12 will be my pick instead of OP12 from BBK or even OP12R if you don't care about telephoto or ultrawide cams.
