None as of now. 6GB is minimum recommended at 15k, 8GB is nice to have, not a deal breaker IMO for sub 20k phone. For 30k phones, get 8GB RAM.

My recommendation will be Edge 40 > F5 because of size, weight & stock OS. F5 has a better battery life & better performance than Edge 40 though. Nord 3 might have a better camera, check some reviews.

Nord 3 & iqoo neo 7 pro are options beyond 30k.

Your mileage may vary, all 4 of them are good phones. Each has their pros & cons. So, just decide which seems good for you. Check reviews by good reviewers like Geekyranjit, C4ETech, Beebom, Techwiser & Trackin Tech English.

Nothing extraordinary, just card offers & some minor price cuts.

Poco F5 under 24k with Axis FK CC. Edge 40 is in stock, but at 28k+. Pixel 6a under 25k & S21FE under 28k but both have an inefficient SoC.

Poco F5 12 GB is 27,999 with HDFC card !

But my confusion is Edge 40 has IP68 rating whereas F5 has only IP53.

But Edge 40 which has only 8 GB RAM and "SoC with 6.7 lakhs Anutu score" selling for 29,999 . (F5 anutu score is 9.67 Lakhs)

So Edge 40 is waterproof but costlier than top varient of F5 but inferior hardware and low battery mah

(Edge 40 has 1300 nits whereas F5 just 1000 nits brightness!)

2) any phones with same hardware and quality of F5 but also with IP68 rating below 35k ?

1. Edge 40 is more compact & lighter. Stock android is also a welcome thing for many. Hence why Edge 40 is still considered a good phone under 30k. 12GB RAM is useless. Unless you play games, the performance difference isn't noticeable. Battery life difference shouldn't be huge, check GSMArena's detailed battery life breakdown. I already mentioned Nord 3 & iqoo neo 7 pro as options beyond 30k.

2. IP53 is splash resistance, so rain won't affect it. IP68 allows you to dunk your phone in water, but its not recommended in general, especially after a few years when the seal gets weaker.

3. Aliexpress won't deliver anything here. Look for Spigen cases.

I think Poco F5 12 GB is good for me. Since I am working on AI and ML projects in my current company and testing in free time, how mobiles fare between PC vs Mobile when running AI portable apps. So more RAM and CPU needed.

Also I am working on AR core, so CPU is needed

So Since I compared benchmarks of 8020 vs 7 Gen 2, the difference is huge

At it has 4000 discount now (2k Flipkart freedam sale + 2k card discount)

(Poco F5 has 2 years warranty also when compared with 1 year of edge 40)

Buy Xiaomi phones only if you are willing to flash custom rom from day 0 since MIUI update is known to brick the new phones.
