Reportedly, Microsoft, the International Center for Missing and Exploited Children (ICMEC), and the International police force (Interpol) have joined hands to help fight online child abuse in India.

These three organizations are training Indian law enforcers at the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Academy in Ghaziabad and Thiruvananthapuram on how to track down offenders who abuse the Internet through blogs, photos, films, and file sharing.

Citing the case of a child predator in India who had been arrested by the police with the help of Interpol recently, Yves Rolland, Crime Intelligence Officer - Trafficking in Human Beings Sub-Directorate, Interpol, said that with the help of cyber forensic tools, they can track down IP addresses and find out who is using a certain site and where he is located, leading ultimately to an arrest.
