microSD card for Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos (older one)

hi,

Need to buy a microSD card for my galaxy grand duos (older one). I need to enquire about two things

1. Reliable brand - sandisk, transcend or some other
2. Maximum capacity that I can buy so as not to hamper performance. Would prefer 32/64gb, but heard in past that it could slow down the mobile. (apologize in advance for my ignorance :p)

Thanks!

Samsung branded MicroSDs are also good and come at a lower price point than others.

If possible, get a class 10 card for higher read/write speed. Both sandisk & Transcend are good. ( i use sandisk ultra & it has been flawless so far. )

^ IMHO, if you want performance, root your phone and hibernate all user apps using greenify. Or you can try AOSP based roms which are much faster than touchwiz.

this is not at all a good option! Let android work as it should. However you can mannually force stop some (Those pesky poorly coded apps) user apps from settings.

@OP 16GB/32GB would be fine IMO (16GB more preferable)
Keep in mind more data you store on SD, longer the boot times, slower performence.

This is the best option for those who don't want to flash roms, kernels etc. for better performance.
