Right off the assembly line
I transferred photos from my camera to the computer. I have been doing this a lot of times before. Trying to open the photo-folder I get the message:

"the instruction at "0x7c91142e" referenced memory at "0x0079006c". The memory could not be "read". Click to OK to terminate the program. Click on CANCEL to debug the program.

If I do so, the program shuts down and then the message with Windows Explorer comes saying it has encuntered ar problem and needs to close.
Debug. Send error report. Don´t send. And if I click debug the program shuts down.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?? What can I do? If I right-click the folder I can see that it contains 262 photos and 820 MB and I can even see the thumbnails on the folder BUT I CAN´T OPEN IT!

Pleeease help me with this...these photos are very important to me / Angela

Poppy no one knows the solution of this type of instruction errors the same was the problem with my Canon Digital Camera last month,i followed these steps :
1.Uninstalled the software from system and also deleted registry entry of this(if present only)
2.Later restart the system and connected the camera after booting, then it will ask Add Hardware then keep cd and let it pick location of cd up on installation, this corected my problem.U may try this
a. Try to obtain latest drivers for your digi-cam
b. Check for your USB ports and their functionality in BIOS,some systems has USB drivers also look for these
c. If all of these fails the problem is may with deleted system files in contrast with your recently uninstalled software, here you perform System Restore to a date when your Cam worked properly

Here perform cleaning your system with different reg.cleaner (probably tune-up) and defragmentation then try to view your photos
