Please help me to install Nvidia Graphics driver in Mandriva...

I have downloaded the installer form nvidia website...

please tell me step by step as i am new 2 linux....

Ok ansari this might help you

you just have to open your konsole, login as root, enter your password, go to the directory where you put the driver is, and then type ./nvidia_drivers_name.bin then press enter.

If you Mandriva has connected to the repository server, you just have to open your konsole and type urpmi dkms-nvidia

No need to panic.. Setup monitor and it will automatically ask you to install it .. Make sure net is on !
