MAC OS X and VM

I'v three question:

1.My brother brought MAC OS x for his MAC book,Now i want to use it in my Assembled pc [MB:Asus P5KPLVM ; RAM:2GB ;HDD:250 GB] through VM. can i use it?

2.iF thelive cd of MAC OS X possible?

3.i used live cd FC4 through VM,no problem.I want to use bootable Mandriva through VM.
IS it possible??

1. As far as I know, you cannot run OSX on any VM. You can however take a look at the OS X86 project website to see how you can install OSX on a regular PC. You could alternatively purchase EFIX, a small USB device that allows you to install OSX on ANY machine.

2. Not that I know of.

3. You have to install it just as you would install it on your hard drive.

u can use TIGER mac ..... no prob....... with the intel chipset u can easily install

1. You can run Mac OS X in VMware, no problem with that.

2. There is a project on Mac OS X Live DVD, but I am not sure if such stuff is allowed to discuss here.

3. Bootable Mandriva in VM would run fine without a hitch.

Since you have an AMD processor, you might face some problem running a hackintosh machine. But AMD support is constantly improving and quite stable now, you can try specific versions meant for AMD processors only. BTW don't try EFI-X, it is hardly available in India and quite expensive too. There is other ways to install Mac OS X into a PC just using some softwares and tweaking the PC a little.
