1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Office work. PDFs, MS Office, Autocad 2010, Videos, Browsing, Tally

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:Approx. 16K. Can extend by 1-2K max.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 10 x64

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 1TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Already have a monitor. Right now it's running at 1366*768 on my oooooold Dual Core PC. Could do with a better resolution, but it isn't a priority.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: ASAP!

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Mumbai. Will buy locally.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I have been suggested Ryzen 2200G with an ASRock v450HDV combination along with a 4gb DDR4 RAM. But it's going to around 19.5K. Is there an alternative to the MoBo, maybe a slightly cheaper alternative? Also I've had a bad experience with AMD boards previously so I'm a bit skeptical right now.

I'd recommend you to approach primeabgb for Athlon 3000G or even 220GE if that is not available and please get at least a 250GB Crucial MX500 instead of a hard disk.

Isn't a 2200G atleast better than a 200GE?

And I will get the SSD for sure. Thanks for that suggestion

Don't go below this, you may be able to find cheaper A320 mobo but those are not a good choice for 2200G.You can try looking for used 2200g on olx for your city to save cost.

Yes it surely is but given your budget, 2200G + B450M-HDV + MX500 250GB cost ~15.8k (200GE would save you ~3k over 2200G for a CX450). Haven't included ram in this.

Is going for a CX450 over a standard PSU in a generic Cabinet that necessary?
Could I swap that for better performance by getting the 2200G?

Is going for a CX450 over a standard PSU in a generic Cabinet that necessary? Only asking because we never really have any powercuts.

Could I swap that for better performance by getting the 2200G?
You are taking a risk,a bad psu can take down mobo/processor/hdd with it in worst case scenario. Better to save money by buying used processor/lower processor than buying cheap Rs.700-800 local generic psu.

In that case, get Buy Corsair VS450 at Best Price in India - mdcomputers.in instead of generic PSU.
Never compromise with cheap components if you want your PC to last long.
