1. Budget - Depends upon answer to question 7 since I need these features and not sure of the price range
2. Display type and size - IPS matte monitor, 24" (reflective screens to be avoided)
3. What will the TV/monitor be used for primarily - office & multimedia
4. Types and number of ports required - HD, DP
5. Preferred choice of brand - Any trustworthy brand with a long life span
6. Any TV/monitor in consideration - Not yet
7. Any other info that you want to share - I previously owned a Asus PA238Q that died and have its stand with me.. (that has all possible features like height/tilt/rotate).. Can I use this stand for the new monitor that I purchase since I believe the cost goes higher when we look for such additional features.. Not sure if all new monitors have the provision of removing the panel from their original stand and fixing it to a different one.. So, wanted clarity on the same

Thanks..

Acer VG240Y M3, costs under 8k after card offers, good for everything including gaming. I found it colours + contrast better than cheaper Dell & Samsung 75Hz monitors (I have that monitor's older variant which had 165Hz refresh rate from 2020).

You may or may not be able to use the stand, likely no as monitors use proprietary stands even though they have VESA mounts. I purchased a stand for 1.5k to get height & rotation adjustment.

Thanks for the suggestion..! I was just considering the Benq GW2490T @ 10.5k (mainly for its eye care technology and the adjustable stand that comes along with it..)
Let me also take a look at the specs of this Acer and decide..

Thanks again :)

Once upon a time GW2480 used to be 10k & that Acer one was 12k. So BenQ just didn't lower the prices as per the overall market trend.

The Acer would have been a very good choice but since I wasn't sure if the old stand could be used on it.. settled with the Benq2490T..
