LG’s Optimus G Pro and Optimus G smartphones to get Android 4.4 Kitkat update

LG’s older devices like Optimus G and Optimus G Pro will now receive Android 4.4 KitKat updates.

The company said in a statement that the Android KitKat update will be released for Optimus G Pro by the end of this month and for Optimus G by the end of August.

No news for AT&T VARIANT of LGOG.
I think LG SFR has already released kitkat for e975 and f180 too has received it in korea.
I am currently running ported kitkat from another variant of Korean OG on my 970 and its fast anx fluent.
But no goodies like ART OR knock on or knock off.

I'm on Paulicat's version.
I tried editing build.prop so that the model number is shown as E970 but it didn't work.
