LCD Monitor.

I am planning to purchase a 17" TFT LCD monitor. I basically do multimedia works. Please advice for a good brand. Long time users please discuss about it's merits and demerits.

Samsung 740N is a good LCD in 17" catg. Its good on contrast ratio , brightness, refresh rate...most of the features are good enough and mainly price factor is the best ... i got it @ Rs.11800 from lamington (mumbai) just 2 weeks back...Thats a good bargain price for an LCD Monitor.

U must go for it...

Samsung SyncMaster 740N TFT monitor is available in Kolkata at Rs. 11300/- +4% VAT. Whether Samsung SyncMaster 770P is available anywhere? Anybody purchased? I was told that 770P is the best TFT monitor in terms of display quality in 17" category. Can anybody tell me the price of it.

Whether a TFT monitor is satisfactory for multimedia works?
