Ok...I desperately need ideas and specs for a Laptop workstation. Good configs but not as hi-fi as Alienware.

dude...budget and config no bounds...the word workstation is enough to explain...i just set a limit...which is alienware...this workstation is obviously not for gaming purposes

Contact HP directly for ZBOOK 17.
They'll give you the details. A fully loaded ZBOOK with dream color screen, k5100m and i74 something mx version can well exceed 4 lakh.
A toned down ZBOOK 17 with normal full.hd screen, i74700mq, k3100m/k4100m and 8 gigs should fit within 1.5 lakhs.
There are low end models also available with. Core i5 hd screen etc. It's a highly customizable laptop.
