6) Anything else you would like to say?

After a lot of search, have narrowed down to above and need help to finalize THE ONE. Already have one Lenovo Z50-70 in family, which I want to avoid at all cost. Kindly Suggest for good performance, battery and display. For Gaming intend to build a good desktop but would need lappy for light to moderate sessions while travelling.

Paytm is not so safe for big purchases. Look for a laptop with atleast 840m graphic card.

Thanks will check that. If you can elaborate on safety part a bit as I am a regular shopper at Paytm and haven't faced any issues till date but yes this will be high value purchase.

We try to avoid purchase from sellers who are relatively new. Stick with fk or amazon so that getting warranty won't be a problem plus the products are mostly genuine.

Alright. Out of the one's mentioned any suggestions as there are GTX 850, 740M, 840M and 940M GPU paired with either 5th Gen (DUAL Core) U / M Processors or HQ (Quad Core) with HD and Full HD Option. Also only Asus has 7200 RPM HDD but SSD upgrade to any of the 5400 RPM Drive spec system would do wonders for future hence little confused which one to settle with?

you should be looking for a MAC. It will serve all your purpose since you will be getting a desktop soon.

Did consider MAC but very expensive from my point of view overall, hence want to settle with Windows and I work mostly in Windows based environment, need it primarily. Do post your suggestions from Windows based machines mentioned or your recommendations.

Try to get a FHD Ips display laptop. TN panels in Laptops above 50k is a waste of money. I'm in search for one too.

meet6600: check this new model from HP for 55K, i5 5200U, FHD, 940M.

HP Pavilion 15-ab032TX Notebook_Laptop

here's it' config

*hpshopping.in/Material/PDF/HP Pavilion 15-ab032TX Notebook_Laptop.pdf

From what I read, buying i7 5500U over i5 5200U is a waste of money since performance gain in minimal.

Hi Folks,

Any heads up? Confused between ASUS n HP as ASUS is superior in terms of specs but I need 16 GB RAM as upgrade option at least for VMware practice. HP has two slots but ASUS unable to get any info. Overall ASUS specs are better but no clarity on RAM and HP has relatively lesser weaker specs with lower price. Any help?

^You don't need 16GB 8GB is more than enough to run VMs.

I would say audition HP Envy model and Asus. Since Asus is known to put some worse speakers in laptop HP is no better but Envy series are known for better sound Quality, built Quality and plz do check display also.

Thanks for your valuable suggestion and polite request when some one mentions there needs, that too as an upgrade, please understand. Not to offend you in any way, but I do have specific requirement for the RAM mentioned!
