1) What is your budget? Rs 60000 (I'd be glad if I can spend way less than this amount.)

Thin and Light or Mainstream; 13" - 15.6" screen
3) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
Internet browsing, watching HD movies, using complex excel calculations, skype chat. Strictly NO gaming/video editing and all those high intensity stuff.
5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
Possibly core i5 4th generation with 4 GB ram.
4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: Dell, Sony, HP, Lenovo
b. Dislike: Acer, Toshiba
6) Anything else you would like to say?
Screen resolution- Preferably full HD.
Battery back up- 3 hours minimum. The more the better
Purchase place- Online in India. Or offline in Bangalore.
OS- Windows 8 or Windows 7.
I had one question. Most i5 processors I see have 1.6ghz with some turbo boost functionality. Is this enough for the requirements mentioned above? Or should I look at 2.3 Ghz + processors?
