It's T H I C C and heavy. How about the HP Envy 13 I was looking for something around that as I'm not really a fan of Envy's look. Also, if nothing else works there is a possibility that I'll go for MSI GS65 as I like everything about it except the price. So during Christmas I can hope to get a discount. Currently just looking for 13 inch ultrabooks if it can be managed.

As per your budget and requirements I would suggest getting either ROG or MSI, envy won't do much justice to it.

This more than enough for you, save the remaining money:
Asus Core i5 8th Gen - (8 GB/1 TB HDD/256 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/2 GB Graphics) S510UN-BQ256T Laptop Rs.70990 Price in India - Buy Asus Core i5 8th Gen - (8 GB/1 TB HDD/256 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/2 GB Graphics) S510UN-BQ256T Laptop Gold Online - Asus : Flipkart.com

You can go for HP Envy but it will run hot (not sure about this one but HP laptops historically run hot, even Omen series):
HP Envy 13 Core i5 8th Gen - (8 GB/256 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/2 GB Graphics) 13-ah0043tx Thin and Light Laptop Rs.83496 Price in India - Buy HP Envy 13 Core i5 8th Gen - (8 GB/256 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/2 GB Graphics) 13-ah0043tx Thin and Light Laptop Natural Silver Online - HP : Flipkart.com
So if you buy this, use it in a inclined position while gaming, but something towards back of laptop to raise it a bit.

Don't buy anything with i7 8550U. It is barely 10% better than i5 8250U. Also, MX150 isn't futureproof, keep that in mind, so if light gaming includes just old games or low requirement games, then you are ok (don't expect it to run latest Assassin's Creed or such smoothly, it will run it at 720p low at 30fps, be happy with that).
