You like Lenovo and don't like Asus, thats strange.
There a couple of good options for you in Asus, Asus laptops has good very good build quality and their performance is also very good, why you dislike them?

I don't recommend lenovo or HP and even dell Inspiron.
And you dislike Asus
So now you are left with sony, check out Sony Vaio E-Series VPCEH38

And if you wanna consider Asus laptops then please check out these 2 models here, you can save a lot of your money by buying any of these great laptops.

You are excluding the best brands.
Anyways the lenovo model you have listed is piece of a crap.
Inspiron 15R is not recommended as much better models in other brands are available.
About HP, I and many of friends had a very bad experience so I don't recommend that also.
If you like dell then I would recommend you to extend your budget if you can and get Dell XPS

what is the prob with dell inspiron 15R and HP DV6?? Dell XPS is priced too high. ASUS laptops have lots of issue with quality and service and SONY have problem mainly with their battery.. My friends SONY VAIO VPCEB36FG/L model have only 1hr and 45min battery backup, battery already changed 3 times and two time charger...

I haven't heard anyone having issues with the battery in Sony but have got a lot of cases about the same in HP and Dell. And asus service is also pretty decent and their quality specially of the K series(which lies in your budget) is pretty good.
