Laptop for Office work and Movies

1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)
Around 40,000 to 45,000/-

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
Thin and Light; 12" - 14" screen ( Preferred, If I can get in this budget )
Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
Office work and movies. No gaming at all. I will install one or two Linux distros for coding etc. It will be multiboot laptop.

4) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eyeing for ?
I have gone through a lot of threads in this forum but still confused. I go with your suggestion only.

5) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
No preferential for any brand.

6) Anything else you would like to say?
Screen resolution ( 768p (HD) / 900p / 1080p (Full HD) ) - The best I can get in that budget
Battery back up ( normal (3-4hrs) / extended (5-7hrs) ) - Normal battery backup is ok too but if I can get extended one then nothing beats that.
Purchase place ( Online (eg - flipkart, Amazon) / Local - I am ok with Online as well as local.

Local dealer are selling for 40500/- with bag + accessories

Track pad is below average.
But anyways I use mouse.

For 32k its good & it will fulfill your requirements

Could you post a link of any? I am looking for 14" having good configuration. I am going to use it for Office work and movies only.
It looks like its easy to find good gaming laptop only.

read the comments,they say ~1.8kg,compact size,good screen,bad audio that needs earphones,very less space between usb ports etc.Newer comments suggests laptop comes with dvd drive which you can replace with ssd for real performance boost with money saved from your budget(but get it done only by authorized lenovo service center,in fact better call their customer care in advance to confirm if it is allowed under warranty terms).
