Hello guys i need some help regarding purchase of a new laptop
) What is your budget? (INR or USD)
30- 35k can extend a thousand or two if really necessary
2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
Anything between 13" and 15.6".
3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
Running kali linux,other distros of linux ,watch tv shows,movies sometimes, surf internet(it would always be online mostly for downloading stuff
5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
since i already have a laptop with amd 6770m gpu in it ,it doesnt support linux well ,tried almost everything, so i guess a laptop that doesnt have a discrete gpu, so i5 5th gen would be great plus 8 gb ram or it could be expandable so that i can upgrade it to 8 gb,the keyboard and screen quality should not be awefull i dont care about the speakers though,built should be good
4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: asus,dell,lenovo
b. Dislike: none
6) Anything else you would like to say?
Screen resolution : atleast HD would be good
Battery back up : in between 4-5 hours
Purchase place : i am living in delhi so probably nehru place ,or may be online if the deals are great ,
also want to say that it should be DOS ,i wont install windows os on it
please give me any suggestion ,i am open to them.
