Unless your tasks prefer Intel CPUs heavily over AMD ones, Ryzen 5 4600H performs similar to i7 10750H for a cheaper price:
HP Omen Ryzen 5 Hexa Core - (8 GB/512 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/4 GB Graphics/NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1650 Ti) 15-en0001AX Gaming Laptop Rs.78399 Price in India - Buy HP Omen Ryzen 5 Hexa Core - (8 GB/512 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/4 GB Graphics/NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1650 Ti) 15-en0001AX Gaming Laptop Mica Silver Online - HP : Flipkart.com

Add another 1TB M.2 SSD (WD SN550 or Kingston A2000) for 10k & add another 8/16GB RAM stick for a great laptop within your budget. HP Omen is better built & runs cooler than Asus TUF & HP Pavilion gaming.

Will your work require GPU?

Why get that when similar performance HP Omen with R5 4600H + 1650Ti costs 76k? Not to forget, Omen has better build & better thermals than Pavilion.
Just look at the configuration asked by OP
Thats why I suggested a laptop which meets OPs requirements exactly.

You know that R5 4600H = i7 10750H in CPU performance(very similar), right? Unless something OP uses is heavily Intel favouring, an i7 is a waste of money in comparison & it runs hotter as well. Also, Omen with R5 & 1660Ti was selling for 86k, that Pavilion can't even think of matching its gaming performance.

OP asked 16GB RAM and if you add another 8GB then it comes to 90k and if you add another 512GB SSD it comes to 1lac then
Thats why I suggested the above laptop
Nowhere until now Intel i7 ran hotter than AMD though AMD now became faster in terms of IPC gains.

I can manage to upgrade ram and storage if required.
as i would be heavily using visual studio as its designed to make use of multicore architecture. as both ryzen and i7 have same core count,it drill down to base clock speed.

I will update the OP to mention im open for upgrades too

But still, the 86k Omen has 1660Ti, about 30% faster in games. 76k Omen has 1650Ti, upgrading that will enable OP to say some decent money.

In frequency dependent workloads, i7 10750H surely has a small advantage (like 5% better fps in games). But again, the cost makes it a bad value anyway you look at it.

Let OP decide what he wants since we have given him 2 choices.
One which needs to be upgraded after he buys
One which does not need any more upgrades after he buys
Finally its OPs decision right
