1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)
  • 1 L to 1.4 L (preferably lower)

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
  • Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
  • 3D rendering, computer aided designing (whatever architects do)

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
  • Min. 16 GB RAM with option for expansion
  • Min 6 GB VRAM prefer 8 GB
  • 1 TB SSD with option of additional storage

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
  • a. Like: DELL (but good durable laptops from other reputed brands is OK), AMD configuration (preferred)
  • b. Dislike:

6) Anything else you would like to say?
  • Screen resolution ( 768p (HD) / 900p / 1080p (Full HD) ) - FullHD (minimum) or higher
  • Battery back up ( normal (3-4hrs) / extended (5-7hrs) )
  • Purchase place ( Online (eg - flipkart, infibeam) / Local / Abroad (do mention the country) ) - From DELL or any other local source

That looks like a home use laptop than one needed for the purpose mentioned.

Legion 5 (15 inch) AMD Ryzen™ 7 5800H | AAA Title Gaming Laptop | Lenovo India

If you haven't bought already, Legion 5 with 1440p display, 5800H & 3060 is 115k. Easily a better choice than Omen.

Compared to Omen, you just got a better build & 2GB extra VRAM. If those matter to you great, esp VRAM. CPU performance is inferior, GPU performance is similar & Omen has better battery life. So older laptops are usually not a great deal as it might seem.

I did suggest Omen but they were hesitant to buy HP due to bad servicing/reliability experience in the past.
