The specs of the laptop looks promising but I don't suggest anyone to go for Lenovo as my some known people owns Lenovo laptops and they sucks in terms of build quality, performance and service and what not.
Check out Asus K Series K53SV-SX521D but recently a guy here on TDF has got a bad experience from Asus and he bought the same laptop but there are more happy customers so you decide as everything has some pros and cons.
Ask your friend to get a price quote of Dell XPS in dubai as its quite costly in India and also it doesn't comes in your budget.
BTW I would pic Asus over Lenovo anyday and if I didn't had a budget problem then XPS.

I'll be getting a pricelist from my friend in dubai this week and will decide after I get it.
I'm leaning towards the lenovo laptop coz it has gt555+6gb ram and my friend said it's really good.
I actually like Sony coz I can trust them. Really good build and performance and a gorgeous backlit keyboard.
Also Hp is nice. Last year HP dv6 6121tx was only ~51k now it's 54k+ and on flipkart it's out of sock!

one dealer wanted to sell DV6-6140tx for 50k-bargain 4-5 days back
it has i7 500gb and AMD Radeon 6770

but is a subject to availablity.

I just feel that lenovo uses bad plastic material, hinges are ok and keyboard too
