Laptop for 3d modelling using Blender. Under 40k

sinhead

Broken In
1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)

- 40k. Lesser he better

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

- 15 inch

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?

- 3d modelling only. Using Blender.
(no gaming, rendering)

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?

- high single core base clock speed; 8gb ram; ryzen 3250u (has 2,6 GHz base clock); i3 11th gen (no idea about its base clock speed).
Blender minimum requirement is 2 GHz.

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?

- Dell.
(I am skeptical about service, repairs of other brands. Haven’t heard good things about acer, Lenovo service)

6) Anything else you would like to say?

- I think a high clock speed dual core should be fine. 3d modelling should utilise only one core.
I can use Linux.
I already have a desktop for cpu intensive tasks.

imp - I have never used a laptop before. So I don’t know about performance of laptop cpus.

considering these - dell Inspiron 15 3000 (Dell Search)

Vostro 15 3500 (11th Gen Intel Core - Vostro Laptops)

Best option under 40k, but 14". Has IPS display & 4c/8t CPU:
HP 14(2021) 5th Gen Ryzen 3 5300U 14-inch(35.6 cm) FHD Laptop with Alexa Built-in(8GB/512GB SSD/Windows 10/MS Office/Natural Silver/1.46Kg), 14s-fq1029AU: Amazon.in: Computers & Accessories

If that's OOS for long:
HP 14 Ryzen 3 4300U Processor 14-inch(35.6 cm) FHD Laptop (8GB/512GB/Windows 10/MS Office/Natural Silver/1.46Kg), 14s-fr0016AU: Amazon.in: Computers & Accessories
Has 4c/4t CPU, better than 2c/4t options.

Otherwise for 15" get any R3 or i3 laptop that you can find, like that Vostro.
