Laptop for 20-30K Urgent

A friend of mine needs a laptop.

1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)
20-30K (plus 2K only if required)

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
Weight anything would do.
At least 15inches (720P) with good viewing angles.



3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
Media Consumption, and surfing. Gaming if possible not necessary.


5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
Nothing specific,
yeah but he needs backlit keyboard and a good webcam if possible.
Also dont want to spend money on the OS so if possible suggest the ones with Linux or DOS

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
Only reputed brands like dell, hp and lenovo


6) Anything else you would like to say?
has to buy from mumbai.

Yeah, for the price specs look good. A basic config with i3 is sufficient for Media & web. The Vostro 3558 should be sufficient for you.

Instead of the Dell one, you can check for HP offerings... HP has some model with i3, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD, dos under 30k

Backlit keyboard is too much for all for in that price point... If you find one, other specs will be worse... Forget gaming (no new games will run)
