840M is DDR3.
You don't have laptops with DDR5 GPU under that budget. Same for CPU. You'll get only ULV processors at that budget.
Generation of processor doesn't matter much.

Didn't know that. Anyway, I'm fine with DDR3 GPU. But, the CPU, May I know at what range can I get a laptop with M/MQ processor?
Also, suggest some with ULV processors based laptops in this range.

Cheapest laptop with MQ processor is Lenovo Y50-70.
Lenovo Z50 is a good option with 840M. There was a HP laptop with DDR3 850M but lacks FHD screen IIRC. -_-

Z50 for Fhd res.

My brother has shortlisted Lenovo Y510P and Z50-70. Have asked quotes from a local dealer as they are not available from online anywhere.
Are they any good?
