14" or 14"+ whatever suits under performance n budget

Pune, Maharashtra, India

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like:ThinkPad,Acer (none in my friend circle) and MSI(if available)
b. Dislike: Dell,HP,Vaio (Common One)
But service center must be present in Pune


5) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
a. JAVA Development in Eclipse
b. Study purpose
c. Gaming with medium graphics capability
d. Sometimes Office Work(that means data importancy should be there)

6) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both?
Yes, once in a month within different cities in Maharashtra.

7) Will you be playing games on your notebook? If so, please state which games or types of games?
Yes, mostly Action or Mission games but no need to have high end graphics capability.

8) How many hours of battery life do you need?
2 - 3 hrs.

9) Would you prefer to see the notebooks you're considering before purchasing it or buying a notebook on-line without seeing it is OK?
Yes, I would perfer to see it, but if Model No. is provided then I can have a look by myself.

10) What OS do you prefer? Windows (XP or Vista or Windows 7), Mac OS, Linux, etc.
Linux - Ubuntu(prefer), if no option then Win7.

the Model you have suggest are the best suited one for me
But as I had handel Asus ones, can I ask you more question on this:

1. Even though my budget is not that enough still it is one time investment for me, So do Asus build there model taking durablility into consideration ?

2. Rather than flikpart or anyother online mode , would be these model availabe into Pune's market?

Do elaborate on these aspects too.:smile:
