Landed really in wierd Situation

Ok here's my problem. I am right now in Pune with 256kbps connection doing downloads daily ( Else you get faster connection for i really dont know ) . I plan to go to Nagpur for 1 and half months .( In short i will be 750 Kms away from my PC ) I will carrry a laptop ofcourse but will have no more than 128Kbps connection there .
My only problem is how do i control my Desktop Pc from Laptop 700Kmps away and carry out my P2P download precedures there. Ofcourse i will need really the best software out there to do it coz theres really no error room for me here as i really cannot come back and no one will be at home. So the home PC is totally out of Reach. Please ad a dash of safetly too in it as i dont wont to share my Pc with the World.

Here's the solution,

u will see the desktop of ur home PC inside a window and u can do whatever u like, like u are running a virtual machine, use ur mouse n all,

just keep on ur PC at home on and ensure that it remains on, also, go into the BIOS and set the resume state after power down to be on, so if in any case the power is off ur comp starts when the power comes back....

thats cool...i didnt know that... resuming the pc on its own but can u tell if all the mobo support this feature or only a few ones.... and if only a few ones which ones??
also where exactly can we find this setting in bios

The only similar thing( Apart from others) which I dont like is that we have to pay for the software.

Also , Since he is going for around 1.5 Months , the trial will also expire by then. So then how is he going to use it?

Also, if you have user accounts set up in Windows, configure them for auto-login.

u can't use a shareware without paying.......... unless u hunt for some illegal stuff......... which ofcourse is not to be discussed on this forum.......

I was wrong, it has a free version as well as a paid version.

As usual the free version lacks some few features while the paid has all that jazz.

This is not true. This site gives a free and paid version . As usual some features are missing in the paid version , but nevertheless it serves his purpose.

I have used this software earlier guys, and as far as i remember i did not pay anything neither did i have to hunt for cracks or anything.....

It is good and just give it a try, but i dont know about the trial period and all because i just used it for once, i had some problem in the comp at my home and had to hunt it down remotely. but i carry the exe file for logmein with me, in my utilities pack since months.
