Hi I have some strange problem with keyboard. When I press a single key, it does not repeated. Though I can type normally (where two successive letter are not same, if two successive letter are same then second letter will not appear) but cannot repeat the same letter. I checked the repeat delay (short), repeat rate (high) from control pannel->keyboard. so there is not problem. checked with bias and set accordingly .. Repeat delay- .25 ms and repeat rate 30 .

I have tried to uninstall the keyboard driver but could not uninstall due to uninstall is grayed out. when I try to update the driver ,it kept the same driver.

Therefore I again install winxp pro service pack 2. but there is not improvement. problem remain as it is. could not uninstall as it is grayed out.

any help will be appreciated..
thanks

If you are using Windows XP, have a try at this.

Go to your Control Panel, go into Keyboard, Click on Hardware then Driver. Attempt to "Roll back driver" or uninstall/Update.

If you cannot, Right click on My Computer and go to properties. Click on System Properties and then Hardware. Go to the Device Manager and find the keyboard and attempt to uninstall or update it from there.
