It Would Have Been Great If We Could Install Os In Mobile?

Hello Friends, Ever Wonder Why we are not able to install OS in our mobile phones? I guess its a bit complicated and it will take some more years to reach that stage. So what are your opinions about this?

Currently most mobile phones differ greatly in terms of hardware. Each manufacturer makes its handset differently from other. Stuff like screen resolution, keypad configuration, graphics, connectivity options, etc. differ greatly from handset to handset. Unless there some standardization of hardware, it'll be difficult to make an OS which can install on all handsets. Maybe it'll happen in future..

agree it will be so good if its possible but as Krazy frog said no uniformity of harware and so much difference this things is not possible and it will take lot of time when we can able to do ourself
