AFAIK AMD Athlon 3400+ is a 754 pin mobo proccy...& u wish to use it with ASUS A8NE mobo which is 939 pin....Please check out whether u 3400+ is 939 pin..Someone please throw some light on this...
Instead u can go in for the 3500+ which is almost similar to the 3400+
The rest of the config looks very solid & seems to be the ideal rig atleast for the next 2 to 3 years. Also u shall get very good gaming results.....
As for the speakers its totally YOUR choice & not ours...lolz

I just checked out now.....3400+ IS a 754 pin mobo proccy...Although it has a 1 MB L2 Cache, it can not be used on the ASUS mobo. Anyways, 754 is outdated technology...
So instead u can can go in for the AMD Athlon 3500+ or the Atlon 64 FX 55...Both of which are 939 compatible...
