Is this device safe for Laptop? is there anything should I keep in mind before buy or using this with my dell inspiron n5010?

No, dont try it. It doesnt work. It might in very rare case but all it would be good for, is a display.

The only external GPU dock that would give good performance are the ones that are based on thunderbolt or MXM port.

Actually I found this video on youtube thats why I think forum is the best place for genuine reply. is the whole thing is a Marketting SCAM?

It would work but would give you 30-40 percent, maybe less of the performance of a gpu. Plus, if there is a quality control issue, it can fry your GPU and your pc.

Bigger and better companies have fried components because they screwed around with PCIE slots ( I'm looking at you, NZXT). So I'd say don't try it. It's not worth it.

I've already fried by Motherboard (GA 78LMT USB 3 rev 6.0) :(
won't take any chance with My GPU & only working laptop (Dell N5010),

How are you going to power your card? I don't think that adapter will be able to supply enough power to the card. If you just want to try these and have money to spend then go ahead. It's all a mess with a significant risk so proceed at your own risk.
