Is Ainol Novo Mars a good Tablet?

I've been looking forward to buying a tablet for some time. I like this tablet because it's got a resolution of 1024x600. These are some questions related to it.

Has anyone bought this tab before? Did you like the performance on this tab?
Can install Custom ROM on this?
Does anyone knows about the warranty and all?
Does it support 3G/WCDMA dongles like DOCOMO 3G or Reliance Netconnect+?

Plz suggest me something else below 8K, if this tablet is not that good enough. Also do not suggest me those cheaper tabs which have the resolution below 800x480 as my main usage would be as an eBook Reader with occasional gaming.

1. I don't know about mars but I own Ainol novo 7 Aurora II. If you buy thru spemall or their official site u can get elf II for 8k. Performance wise there is no issue.. Everything works great. I love the display

2. Yes, i have installed a custom rom in my tab ,

3. The product catalogue says 12 months warranty. Frankly , i'm not sure how i would claim for product warranty if in case of fault

3. Yes it does support DOCOMO 3G dongle. Look in the forum for other dongle support.

Hey thanks for the reply man, I researched myself a little bit about this tab they've got pick up and drop facility for warranty and their office is located at Mumbai, Malad.

But I think I'll go with NXG Xtab A10 Plus Tablet, it's got 7" capacitive with 1024x600 IPS panel. And their main office is located in Pune. It's price is 8000+200 for shipping.

Well the tab u mentioned,nxg a10, specs looks all the same as in Aurora I . . Do check around for any community avail for its custom mods. Then decide on it.. else aurora I or elf II.

They didn't apply any custom duty or anything? What about Indian warranty? Elf2 looks awesome for the price.

^^ Nope.. No duty or customs charge ..I ordered via DHL.. Took 3 days.. Ainol packages it as undervalued.. mine was printed 32$ Mp4 player. . Even if u had customs charge for it .. it would be around 450Rs. .

I'm very unsure if I'll go with this, price is less but it comes without any warranty. Exactly what my friend tells his customers when he sells them china mobile. But I'l pretty sure Ainol is little bit better then their other cheap counterparts.
