i need a tablet for viewing netflix sd , random browsing etc ,minor reading And confused between these two.
I have never owned a apple device before but really impressed by its screen resolution.

samsung tab a was another good option but it only has 3gb ram.

Nothing beats apple's quality as far as tabs are concerned except maybe costly samsung models.Don't go for surface,their win 10 os will make you spend more time troubleshooting than actually using tab for entertainment.
