Hello everyone, I want to know which processor would be better for gaming uses and future proof to buy.

Neither,2600 is better as it is faster in games compared to 1600.Ryzen is also better for future upgrades in the long term plus you also get the capability to overclock if you decide to use it in future. You need at least core i5 to build a better gaming rig than ryzen 2600.
Well it does perform better enough than 1600 to justify that price tag.I know one can always overclock 1600 but seeing so many posts on reddit I have come to a conclusion that overclocking a 1st gen ryzen processor to match gaming performance of Ryzen 2nd gen(with its PBO/XFR/other enhancements) &/or intel is a path best left to those with technical know-how(aka those who rarely need to post asking for basic build suggestions).Actually 2600 is 4K INR costlier than 1600. Not good value there.

I mean in terms of value. 2600 does come on top compared to 1600 in performance. And even in performance per dollar. But in performance per rupee 1600 comes on top.Strange, all the tech specs & reviews suggest 2600 should be better than 1600 as far as gaming is concerned.
Well then I think extra 2.3k is not that much, may be by cutting costs by avoiding those flashy cabinets & rgb it can be adjusted.
How much difference between the 1600 & 2600 then in terms of gaming performance ?
I don't care about rgb or flashy things I have everything apart from the cpu, mobo ram trio.

What exactly you have? I am asking because I am hoping you are not having those one of those corsair VS/coolermaster psu that are usually the most sold ones in Nehru Place. How much difference between the 1600 & 2600 then in terms of gaming performance ?

Then in terms of value the ryzen 1600 is better, 4% difference for ₹ 4k methinks it's manageable.About 4% at 1080p and 0.6% at 4K
