Inability of access nic.in or gov.in sites from my computer

Dear all

I am using firefox 21.0. Of late I am unable to access nic.in or gov.in site, while all the other sites are opening. Accessing nic.in sites giving "server not found" error messages. I am using BSNL broadband connection. Earlier, I was able to connect those sites. Those sites can be accessed from my office computers which is also using BSNL broadband connection.

Immediate help is needed.

Changing your DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 4.2.2.1 might do the trick.

Have you tried ?

1. Change DNS to Google DNS or OpenDNS

2. Use another browser (say IE as most govt. sites are designed to work with IE)

3. Using Opera Turbo mode.
