ASUS Technology Pvt Ltd has sold 200 pieces of ASUS Eee PC in 20 minutes, on Taiwan's shopping channel, ETTV Shopping. Eee PC is a mobile computing option for internet browsing, learning and entertainment.
Through ASUS Eee PC's, the company focused on providing users with the Internet applications based on three Es: easy to learn, work, play; excellent Internet experience, and excellent on-the-go.
This 7-inch Eee PC weighs 0.92kg and provides an Internet experience with two modes of intuitive graphic user interface design. The Eee PC is also Windows XP compatible, and comes with over 40 built-in applications.
Andrew Tsui, managing director, ASUS India, said, "The ASUS Eee PC is a highly portable gadget, which is lightweight and rugged. It is aimed at fulfilling the computing needs of youngsters and people who prefer carrying lightweight PCs with optimum connectivity. Learning and enjoyment is equally convenient on the ASUS Eee PC. It has been made to be extremely user friendly. We are planning to launch this product in India soon."
