I have an Imation 2.5" 500GB external hard drive< Imation Apollo 500GB 2.5" Portable Hard Drive > . It functioned very well ever since i bought it, arnd 1 yr. now that its almost full but somehow the data inside got corrupted. Windows shows nothing but can see the distorted file names in linux terminal. i tried formatting. failed. anyway out? pls help.
