I'm asking this on behalf of a friend who is looking to purchase a new IEM as his existing Beyer Byron (wired) has stopped working.
He's not an audiophile or anything by any means but would like to buy on the basis of two factors- Clarity and Build quality.
He said he didn't like the clarity of his Byrons, so he must have more clarity and that it should be top notch in the class and also as he's a public transport commuter the built will have to be accordingly enduring. Built-in Microphone is also needed.
He also wanted to some suggestions on wireless units but I've informed him it's not possible to get a decent model within 5k. In case any wireless unit is advised, after budget adjusted accordingly to match the sound quality of the abovesaid wired unit i would appreciate it.
