I want to know the problem

i am unable to play DVD movies in my DVD writer.Both audio and video is displayed (plaYING) bit by bit.My machine is celeron 900mhz and ram is 256SD.CAN ANY ONE HELP ME IN SORTING OUT MY PROBLEM.I INSTALLED dIRECTX 9C AS RECOMMENDED BY FRIEND. THAT WONT HELP ME.

1.) Type dxdiag in RUN dialog box and do all tests.
2.) Install K-Lite Codec pack.

Now try to run the movie again

through dxdiag verify whether ddraw acceleration is enabled or not (from display tab)or the hardware acceleration is fully selected
such things happen only then

I think your processor is too slow to movies from a dvd. Anyways, you can try the solutions given above.
