Chosen of the Omnissiah
LG 22MP68VQ 22" LED IPS -8.8k
Or
LG 24MP88HM 24" LED IPS -14.5k
Or
LG 27MP88HM 27" LED IPS -20.5k

It's your choice which ever to go for. All are borderless 1080p monitors with excellent color reproduction.
All LG monitors in this series have split screen where you can watch 4 different windows at the same time.

Get at least a 1440p monitor or the money you spent on GTX 1080 would be wasted.

Haven't searched much for them. This is the cheapest 144 Hz 1440p monitor I could find.

Sell your GTX 1080 and get a GTX 1060 or RX 480 if you want to do 1080p gaming.

Did you even think before buying the GPU that you need a 1440p monitor to utilize it properly?

You should've gotten a GTX 1060 or RX 480 then (even these can do 1440p med-high settings gaming >40fps)

That GTX 1080 would be wasted on 1080p.

takop ok, so 1440p is not in your budget. No need to look for it then.

The two options left for you are 2560x1080 (21:9, ultra wide) and 1920x1080 (16:9, Full HD)

2560x1080 is good when it comes to gaming, as the field in view is much larger, horizontally. But it looks weird when it comes to general computing (internet browsing, movies etc.) You should check out more about ultra wide resolution experience online to understand if you like it or not, because it depends on your taste. If you like it, then 2560x1080 for rs 15500 option looks good to me. However, let us know the exact monitor model because there are much more things to check out apart from native resolution, when going to buy a monitor.

1920x1080 is the most popular, today's standard resolution. Nothing to hate here if your screen size is upto 24-26". Good for gaming as well as general computing. I am currently using the same monitor which you shared earlier (LG 24MP88HM IPS Computer | LG Electronics I) and I can say its really good. Awesome color reproduction (IPS panel), good looking and matte finish.

BTW, why did you buy 1080GTX in the first place? and if you were able to afford it (>50k INR) why not a 1440p monitor (atleast!) then?
If you are gonna game at 1080p on 1080GTX, all I can say is you have set standards for everybody of being future proof! :D

Nope... 24k 1080p at 144hz
If i buy 20-30k monitor it means end for me to play games..then gaming console r good ..less expensive ..easier to use and no need to upgrade!!

India prices suck....and I don't understand why 2560x1080 prices r same as 1920x1080 monitor lol

As if you'll need to upgrade from GTX 1080 for next 5-7 years maybe (1080p gaming only)

It wasn't stupid of you to buy a GTX 1080, it would be stupid if you play games at 1080p resolution on it.

well that's hard luck, but it was already known that Ti variant of 1080 would come which would lead to price drop of original 1080. Not only in India, the price dropped everywhere.
That's the premium people pay when they buy stuff as soon as it's released ;)

Depends on from which site are you buying. How's the packaging, shipment etc. gonna happen. For ex. Amazon global store is trustworthy, they do it quite professionally.
you mean 17k after direct conversion from pounds to INR? If that's so, add approx. 5-6k for custom + taxes.
Also, if you bother about warranty, make sure the manufacturer provides international warranty because most of them doesn't.

Getting a top end card and pairing it with a 60hz monitor doesn't sound good. I personally use RL2455 coz I play a lot of CS which is a 75hz monitor and its enough for me as Im a budget user. If you are free on budget go for the XL2411 which is a 144hz monitor from Zowie or if you want a budget tight setup go for the RL2455 like me which is 75hz model. Both are available is 24' and 27' variants so you get a huge viewing area. The output is really crisp and clear and the red-black theme is really sexy.
