i cant download

i am trying to download using utorrent but ared icon is showing n it says "not connectable afirewall/router is limiting ur network traffic PLC HLP

Maybe a firewall is blocking your net access

Go to control panel, security center,fire wall,click on Allow a program through windows firewall,click add program,select browse for utorrent.exe click add and have a happy torrent downloading

to the OP: if u are using Win XP Pro+SP2, jus make sure that uTORRENT is NOT in the BLOCKED lists of connections (but is there in the ALLOWED list).. i.e goto Control Panel > Security Center > click on Windows Firewall (in the "Manage Security Settings for", at the bottom) > (on a new window that opens in front of u) > Click on EXCEPTIONS and see of the uTORRENT entry is checked (tick marked) > clicked on OK..u are done with it..


This is considering that U hv JUST Windows FIREWALL installed (enabled) on ur system ... if u still face any problem, plz do specify ..
