Can the above HTC ChaCha keypad be replaced and upgraded to Jellybean or Kitkat...

the keypad can be replaced, though i went to a couple of shops, and they said that either the whole body would've to be changed, or that they don't have the keypad for it. didn't check much. may be some shop(s) have it. i had searched online as well, and found a replacement-keypad listed on a non-indian portal. will be going to the mkt. tomorrow or the day after. may check in some other shops.

the phone can be upgraded to a kitkat-based custom ROM. the ROMs have some niggles, but they get evened out with time (many have been), thanks to devs over at XDA forums. i had read an old thread there, which told that the best CR for the phone is a modified stock ROM available at XDA. hence, didn't look further much (but didn't download that modded stock CR).
