HP G6 2005AX RAM issue

I have 3 year old HP G6 2005AX. As i know it have 4GB RAM and 1.5GB Graphics but when i checked in Win 7 32bit, resource monitor it show Available: 780MB , Cached: 1052MB , Total: 2809MB , Install: 4096

It is mean Graphics uses memory from installed 4GB RAM? if so than what about 1.5GB RAM which given in company specification?

If it have dedicated 1.5GB graphics as per company given specification than why i can't use whole 4GB RAM ?

32 bit OS can't use 4GB RAM, just install a 64 bit OS & you are good to go

It has 1.5GB GPU & 4GB RAM but please install a 64bit OS to utilize 4GB RAM

if u use all 4GB for video memory? what will the computer use.
Secondly, your graphic card is dedicated 1GB VRAM and can use additional 500 something MB, which is a joke considering the fact that the DDR3 video memory of ur GPU is way faster than your system DDR3 RAM .
OR
your graphic card has dedicated 1.5GB VRAM and does not use any of the 4GB system RAM.
Since you are using 32bit OS, your system is using on 3.2GB RAM.

Take a screenshot of your computer specification using Speccy and post it here. Details of your RAM and the GRAPHIC CARD.

Your 3 sentences leaves more questions than the answer you require

Install 64bit OS
Your dedicated GPU is 7670M 1GB, which will be used for games & other graphical intensive tasks, whereas 7640G 512MB will be used for general usage like watching videos, etc... At a time only one of them will be active

For laptops with Intel CPU, Intel GPU is used for normal usage & dedicated, if available is used for games

RAM is a different from GPU memory & both have different uses

Properties of My Computer will only show RAM.... As long as proper drivers are installed, your GPU will work fine
