HP Deskjet Printer not Picking up Paper from the tray

Okay, this trouble started a few weeks back, when I suddenly noticed that my printer was not taking the paper in when I had kept the paper in the tray. If I don't give "a slight push to the paper" when the rollers are rolling for taking the paper in, the paper does not go inside the printer at all. I don't know how to open the printer for repairing the rollers nor am I able to see them, please tell me guys how to solve this problem?

If you are under warranty,go for HP care.Most of the people here in TDF would not advise you to open your printer.Or if you are not under warranty,you can continue to use the printer as it is and save some money on repair.Your choice.

Thats what I am thinking also, BTW how long is the warranty on HP printers?

I am just worried that incase I plan on selling this then the buyer would make fusses about the rollers not working properly, else the printer is doing a great job.

^I would recommend you to use your printer as is until it fails completely.
Warranty on HP printers is 1 year,AFAIK.

But if that happens then the printer will not be good enough for a sale and nobody wants a non working printer, so I just hoped if this problem could be solved.

LOL. No I am pretty certain that the way I am putting the paper is alright because 1 month back the machine was taking the paper without any problem, this problem started a few days back.
