Instead buy TV from Vu for exceptional quality.

Samsung RU7100 vs LG UM7300 Side-by-Side TV Comparison
These 2 are good choices, try to find RU/NU7470 from Samsung though. VA panel of Samsung has better contrast whereas IPS of LG has better viewing angles. I couldn't see the Samsung panel for myself, but the LG one seemed good to me. Don't go for 6000 series LG 4K TV as they apparently use RGB-W subpixel arrangement for not so real 4K resolution.

How to Check your Sony Bravia Panel Usage Hours

With the TV off, using the Sony remote:

Press Display or (i+) + 5 + Volume UP + Power

Gets you into the diagnostics screen which shows the hours.

The bottom left 5 numbers are the hours

Next 5 are boot count

and last 5 are the lcd panel hours.
