You need Casio FA-127 Software to transfer data from your digital diary to computer. You must've got that software on a CD/Floppy with your digital diary. By the way, how do you know the diary is not getting detected? Serial port connections are not hot plug n play so you won't see any pop-up/notification in windows when you connect the diary.

As i said, you need that specific software to access/copy data from your digital diary. If you've lost the software CD/Floppy, you are out of luck. But you could try an electronics store which sells Casio digital diaries, maybe they will help you out.

Peace.

You need to have the Casio software installed in your machine. I have the software installed.

I am in Mumbai. If you bring your diary along, I will be able to transfer your data and give a backup.
