i have installed windows 98SE,Windows XP and RedHat LINUX 9 on my 20 GB harddisk.i partitioned my disk in 4 drives C;D;E; & F;drive. How can i remove only LINUX without erasing my WINDOWS oprating system?
You have Windows 98 right... then first task it to restore original MBR and remove LILO... boot up Windows 98 and open a command prompt windows ... there type: C:\> fdisk /mbr
this takes of your MBR... now if you are familiar with DOS fdisk interface then erase the Linux native and swap partitions from the extended partitons of ur disk.... then create a new partition from the free space....
then format that newly created partition by giving: C:\> format E:
or you can also remove partitions from windows XP partition manager... and format them too...
