How to get maximum comression, winrar

Please let me know. I have a few DIV X movies and want to archive them.
How to get maximum comression using Winrar

I know only one of using winrar. Right click on the file(s) to be archived and select "Add to archive...". Select "Best" in the 'compression method' listbox. If you are compressing multiple files or a folder, check the "Create solid archive" checkbox. Goto Advanced and Time tabs and clear all the checkboxes. And that's it.

DivX format is already compressed tightly enough so winrar won't be able to do much. You could try uharc compressor for such multimedia file compression.

As told by siriusb divx is already compressed so winrar cannot be used for the above purpose.

I am posting an illustration so that you can use winrar to compress to the max level for other file types.

Yep
Divx files are already compressed to the maximum.
It is not possible to compress them furthur.

Try converting the movie into another format like WMV or RM using AVS video converter this really help me (4.2GB to Flat 450MB)

If you ask me the best compression is using the gZip and Tar combination (Available in new version of Win Rar). First compress using Tar then with Gzip
