How to Add image in video at Start & End.....?

My Friend have some video He want to add some text (or image) at its startup
& also some text(image) at its end
Pls can someone tell me any video editing software which can do this..........?

liuse any video editing software like ulead video studio ... i think u can do this even using windows movie maker
